Our Programs

Tailoring Program

Welcome to our NGO’s tailoring program for women from impoverished backgrounds in Nairobi. Our organization believes in empowering women by providing them with the skills and opportunities they need to become financially independent. We believe that every woman has the potential to succeed and make a positive impact in their community, regardless of their socio-economic background.

Our tailoring program is designed to equip women with the skills and knowledge they need to become successful tailors. Our program is open to women from all walks of life, including those who have never had any experience in sewing. We provide our students with a safe and supportive learning environment, where they can learn at their own pace and ask questions whenever they need to.

Our program is structured into different levels to cater to students with different skill levels. We start with the basics of sewing and gradually progress to more advanced techniques such as pattern-making and clothing construction. Our curriculum is designed to be comprehensive and covers everything from fabric selection, cutting, and stitching, to fitting and finishing techniques.

Our experienced instructors are dedicated to ensuring that every student in our program receives individual attention and support. They provide personalized guidance and feedback to each student, helping them to develop their skills and build their confidence. Our instructors are all qualified tailors who have years of experience in the industry, and they are passionate about sharing their knowledge with our students.

In addition to the technical skills, we also provide our students with training in entrepreneurship and business skills. We believe that these skills are just as important as the technical skills, as they enable our students to start their own businesses and become successful entrepreneurs. Our program covers topics such as marketing, customer service, financial management, and business planning.

At the end of the program, we provide our students with certification, which they can use to apply for tailoring jobs or start their own businesses. We also provide them with ongoing support and mentorship to ensure that they are successful in their endeavors.

We believe that by investing in women’s education and skills, we can create a brighter future for everyone.

If you are a woman from an impoverished background in Nairobi and are interested in joining our tailoring program, please contact us for more information. We look forward to hearing from you and helping you to achieve your dreams.
